Treatment Options offered by Dr. Badami for Adults
Full Private Treatment - Individual consultation, attention and care with access to the latest materials and techniques. Treatment options and potential costs are always clearly explained at the initial appointment. This includes a full dental health check (teeth, gums, soft tissues etc.) and diagnostic X-rays. Following this, a personal treatment plan is prepared, costed and carefully explained. It is the practices policy that all fees are understood and agreed prior to any dental treatment. Fees will usually be based on an the time the treatment takes and charged accordingly. This type of treatment is particularly suited to patients who are nervous of dental treatment and do not wish to have their treatment rushed
Dencare - This is our own scheme of quality low cost private dental care, designed to replace NHS arrangements. The fees are set at a level that will allow DR Badami to provide good quality treatment for his patients whilst remaining affordable to all. Click here to read about our Dencare Scheme
Denplan - This is a low cost pre-payment scheme offered to patients who wish to have private treatment but want the security of knowing in advance how much it will cost. The average cost is from £12 per month. (Your mouth must reach a reasonable standard of dental stability before registration is accepted on this scheme.) Treatment that will definitely be required in the future (such as treat of gum disease) is normally excluded from cover under Denplan. To visit the Denplan Web site click www.denplan.co.uk
Cost of Treatment
All patients who are treated privately will be given an estimate on their first appointment that will give them a good idea of the eventual costs. Of course once x-rays have been checked and treatment started, it may be necessary to change the treatment plan. Should this be necessary, you will be informed of any new fees likely to be charged.
Treatment Options offered by Dr. Badami for Children
Routine Treatment - Dr. Badani offers full NHS treatment to all children under the age of eighteen for routine treatment
Specialised Treatment - Dr. Badani offers private care for children having particular problems requiring specialised treatment. Badly fractured teeth or heavily mottled teeth caused by fluoride and requiring cosmetic or bleaching treatment would benefit from having such private care. Children who need more time or who are extremely nervous of having treatment might also wish to be seen under such an arrangement. DR Badami will be pleased to treat patients referred from other dental practices for specialised care.
We stock a full range of dental health products, please ask what is suitable for your needs.
Emergency Arrangements
Patients registered at the Practice who are in pain will be seen straight away whenever possible during the normal working week.
Please telephone as early as possible in the day should you require an emergency appointment. Please do not ask for an emergency unless you really need one as most minor problems, such as a lost filling, can usually wait a couple of days without complications arising.
For emergencies during the weekends/Bank Holidays etc., please telephone the practice as normal where the answerp
hone will give details of the out of hours emergency arrangements. We participate in an emergency rota of local dentists, which may mean patients will be seen by another dentist
We have no specific arrangements for disabled persons, however our staff are willing to help any patient who has trouble negotiating the steps.
We have staff available who speak French and fluent German.
